( dpa ) - A serial molester was sentenced by a Singaporean judge to 25 months in jail and ordered to be caned seven times, news reports said Wednesday.
Kamari Noordin, 41, molested a 27-year-old Indonesian maid twice and followed a 16-year-old student home and groped her at the front door, The Straits Times said.
The incidents took place between August and January in Singapore. Kamari also molested a 49-year-old woman at a deck of a block of flats.
Noting that some of Kamari's offences took place in public areas, District Judge Danielle Yeow said Tuesday that this showed brazenness and disregard for the law.
The maid was molested at a market. Two months later, Kamari groped her outside her employer's flat, the report said.
Kamari has previous convictions for drug consumption, civil defence desertion and burglary.
