(dpa) - Oscar-winning British writer, film director and actor Anthony Minghella has died at the age of 54, his agent said Tuesday.
In 1997, Minghella won an Oscar for the film The English Patient, based on the award-winning novel by Canadian-Sinhalese writer Michael Ondaatje.
