British pop star LILY ALLEN has declared war on celebrity blogger PEREZ HILTON after he branded her a "liar" on his website, the CM reported.
Allen was angered by a series of posts on Hilton's internet page which referred to her as more of a "tragic train wreck than a musician".
The Smile singer insists she was most offended by insinuations that, "I was smoking during my pregnancy, which was not true. He also insinuated there was something suspicious about me having a miscarriage, which is just wrong, but I'm not going to go into how painful that whole episode was."
And Allen has now hit back with her own blog, accusing Hilton of harbouring a hatred of young, female stars and making up stories.
She writes on her Myspace.com page, "Perez Hilton is a mean man. I don't know what I did to piss him off but the last few months he has launched a bit of a tirade against me.
"It's not fair to say that I'm washed up and it's not fair to make up these feuds between people. Perez just writes things that aren't true with no shame about it, and it's sad.
"He bullies young, successful females."
The post spawned a series of angry responses from Hilton, all of which have been countered by Allen on her site. The feud has culminated in the pop star posting a digitally altered picture of the blogger - adorned with explicit doodles that have become the trademark of Hilton's gossip site.
