BYuT Says Law Enforcement Bodies Blocked Ukrainian Central Election Commission
Ukraine, Kiev, 14 October / Trend corr. Z.Novosvitskiy/'The Alfa special armed division and officials of the State Defence Department blocked the Central Election Commission (CEC) in Ukraine," MP Oleg Lashko of the Yulia Timoshenko Bloc (BYuT), said.
UNIAN was informed of "Alfa is understood under the CEC", three buses went to CEC with employees of the State Defence Department, which was headed by Geletei." "They do not permit MPs to enter the building and force CEC members to meet," said Lashko.
The presence of special division near CEC shows that anybody wants to hold the meeting at any price.
"We will try to avoid violation of rules independently who will take positions," said the MP.
Andrei Pavlovskiy, an MP of BYuT, said that the fighters of Alfa division have blocked the cabinet of the chairman of CEC Vladimir Shapoval, and the meeting hall. The fighters do not permit MPs to leave the building.
"Geletei is usually accompanied by 25 men without showing any documents,' said Pavlovskiy.
