An emergency official says five gold miners have been killed and another 20 are missing following a landslide in central Indonesia, the Associated Press reported.
Rustam Pakaya, who heads the Health Ministry's Crisis Management Center, said Friday the men were buried while
working in a small mine on Sulawesi island.
He says five bodies have been recovered and that rescuers are still searching for the missing.
The landslide occurred Thursday in Bombana, a region 930 miles ( 1,500 kilometers) east of the capital, Jakarta.
