Schlierenzauer triumphs in Austria one-two

Austrian Gregor Schlierenzauer won the World Cup ski jump in the Swiss venue of Engelberg on Sunday.

It was a 13th individual World Cup win for Schlierenzauer who garnered 264.1 points with jumps of 133.5 metres and 133.5 metres.

Compatriot Wolfgang Loitzl, who had jumps of 132.5m and 133m for 262.4 points, was second for the second successive day and for the fourth time this season.

Simon Ammann of Switzerland, who won on Saturday ahead of Loitzl and Schlierenzauer, had to be content with third place on 260.0 points (131.5m/136m).

After seven of 28 events, Ammann leads on 585 points, ahead of Schlierenzauer (510) and Loitzl (359).
