Israeli right-wing Likud party head Benyamin Netanyahu accepted President Shimon Peres's proposal to form a new government and became prime minister.
The Likud leader urges all parties to join the new government.
Kadima leader Tzipi Livni said she will not join Netanyahu's government.
Netanyahu must form a government within 6 weeks.
