A 5.4-magnitude earthquake shook southeast of Melonguane, North Sulawesi, on Sunday, but there was no immediate report of casualties or material damage, Xinhua reported referring to the Indonesian Meteorology and Geophysics Agency (BMG).
The quake struck at 10.52 a.m. Western Indonesian Time (0352 GMT), with the epicenter located at 3.67 degrees north latitude and 126.87 degrees east longitude, around 137 km southeast of Melonguane, at a depth of 62 km below sea level, the national Antara News Agency reported, quoting BMG.
