A provincial official of Pakistan escaped narrowly when an unidentified person fired at him in northwestern Pakistan on Wednesday, local television reported.
Bashir Ahmed Bilour, a senior minister in North West Frontier Province (NWFP), was in his vehicle in NWFP capital Peshawar when the gunman opened fire, private Geo TV channel reported.
Bilour was safe, but two others were injured in the gun attack.
Bilour has been targeted in a stadium blast in Peshawar in November, which killed four people and wounded 13.
Bilour is also a member of the ruling Awami National Party (ANP) , which runs the NWFP government, reported Xinhua.
