None of three people on the board of the crushed Mi-2 helicopter on Saturday in Kazan was hospitalized, the RIA Novosti quoted the head of the Emergency Department of the Republic Clinical Hospital Rustem Khisamiyev as saying.
Earlier, representative of the Emergency Situations Ministry of Russia for Tatarstan said that all those on board had been hospitalized with various injuries
A Mi-2 helicopter crashed at 11:45 Moscow time [07:45 GMT] several minutes after it took off. The helicopter was carrying two pilots and a doctor.
"None of those on board have been injured, Khisamiyev said.
The helicopter had burst into flames shortly after crashing onto wasteland on the outskirts of Kazan. An air accident investigation had been launched to establish the cause of the crash.
