Three people executed, two arrested due to mosque blast in Iran (UPDATE)

Three criminals, involved in the explosion in the Iranian city of Zahidan on May 28, have been executed this morning, the prosecutor of the Iranian Sistan and Baluchistan provinces Mejid Merziya said, İSNA agency reported.

"Two people have been arrested on this case. An interrogation has been held," Merziya said. "Three criminals brought explosives from other countries, and blasted the mosque. They were executed, they were took two residents of Zahidan hostage, attacked a police station in the Lar region, blasted the Algadir mosque in Zahidan, committed bombing in one of the rallies in 2008 and a few terrorist acts," Merziya said.

Blast in the Ali ibn Abu Talib mosque in Zahidan, Iran on May 28 killed 80 people and injured 25. Four-year child was also among the victims. He came to pray with his parents.

The Jundullah terror group has claimed responsibility for a terrorist attack that killed at least 25 people in southeastern of Iran, Press TV reported.
