At least 50 people were killed, including Security Minister Amr Hashi and several officials, and hundreds were injured as a result of bombing in a hotel in Somalia on Thursday evening, Al Jazeera.
Among the dead was head of the special units of the Ethiopian security forces in the region-Vier Vier, and responsible for the security of Islamic Courts, Sheikh Ahmed Angie, as well as former Somali ambassador to Ethiopia Abdul-Karim Farih. The youth organization of Mujahideen of Somalia has taken the responsibility for the explosion.
