Hariri: government formula almost ready

Designated Prime Minister Saad Hariri met Thursday President Michel Sleiman at Baabda, where he asserted that the government formula is "almost ready", and stressed his adherence to secrecy during the ministers' name choosing process, reported Future Movement official site.

Premier-designate Hariri said after the meeting "after a month of serious deliberations with President Sleiman and parliamentary blocs, the government formula is almost ready. Next, we will work on choosing from ministerial candidates to form a national unity government."

Hariri pointed that the name-choosing process will be faster, abiding by the secrecy rule he committed himself to since the beginning of his government formation task.

He thanked "President Sleiman and parliamentary blocs for their efforts, which led to this formula," and revealed that a number of unannounced meetings held this period has helped reach the formula.

"This calm-preservation policy has preserved calm in the country as well," Hariri concluded and indicated that all political compatriots will be participating in the government formation.
