Five people were killed in a mine blast in east Afghanistan on Wednesday, a press release of Interior Ministry said, reported Xinhua.
"A vehicle ran over a mine in Pachiragam district of Nangarhar province Wednesday morning, as a result five persons on board were killed, the press release added.
However, it did not say if the victims were civilians.
