Russia said on Wednesday an EU-sponsored report had found Georgia responsible for starting last year's five-day war, Reuters reported according to Russian news agencies.
State-owned RIA news agency cited Russia's envoy to the European Union in Brussels, Vladimir Chizhov, as saying that the report had an "unequivocal answer" on the question of who started the conflict.
The report was due to be published later on Wednesday.
