Chicago police are investigating a possible murder-suicide after four members of a west suburban family were found dead in their home on Wednesday, Xinhua reported.
A statement of Chicago police said, police responded this morning to a 911 call from a home in the 200 block of South Wisconsin Street in southern suburb of Chicago. At the home, officers found a man, a woman and two boys dead.
A police source said authorities believe it was a case of murder-suicide. But Police Chief Tim Hayden of Addison said at an afternoon press conference that investigators were still looking into the cause and motive.
Hayden also declined to say whether the family died of gunshots, though he said shell casings were found near the bodies.
