An Indonesian maid was Tuesday jailed for four weeks for adding her urine to the drinking water of her Singapore employer, DPA reported.
Sri Aryati, 26, had admitted to committing the offence at her employer's apartment on December 15, a week after she had started work.
The district court heard that the maid had collected some of her urine and added it to the water in a kettle and a water jug, according to a report by The Straits Times online edition.
A police prosecutor told the court that the employer's father-in-law and young son drank the mixture, and were none the worse.
Sri Aryati could have been jailed for up to one year and/or fined for the offence.
