The UN Baku Office jointly with the Public Association "Irali" holds two-day conference on 'Climate Change - from pledges to action' in Azerbaijan.
UN announced 2010 "Year of Biodiversit." in the field of ecology. This event is a simulation game aimed at raising awareness among young people in the field of globalization, and diplomacy, as well as holding effective negotiation. Students conduct research on selected countries of the world, act as diplomats , discuss international issues, and make the final resolution reflecting the ways of solving global problems," UN Baku Office Spokesman Enver Selimovic said.
About 30 students from five universities of Baku attend the conference, which is held at the Center for Strategic Studies under the Azerbaijani President. The official conference language is English.
