A Russian tourist who was injured in a coach crash in south Turkey earlier this week died in a hospital Friday, bringing the death toll of the accident to 16, Xinhua reported according to local media.

Natalia Chumak, a 27-year-old woman, was sent to hospital after the coach carrying Russian tourists overturned and fell off a bridge into a river bed in south Turkey's Antalya province on Tuesday and died in a private hospital, the semi-official Anatolia news agency reported.

Three Russian tourists including Chumak were still in life- threatening condition on Thursday, the agency quoted Abdullah Erdogan, head doctor of Antalya's Akdeniz University Hospital, as saying Thursday.

One of them, Mariya Ashikmina, had been put on respiratory support, he said.

The bus was traveling from the resort town of Alanya in Antalya to the tourist site Pamukkale in the southwestern province of Denizli when the accident happened.

With Chumak's death, the crash killed 16 people including 14 Russian tourists, a Turkish guide and the bus driver and injured 25 others.
