A magnitude-6.1 earthquake hit India's Andaman Islands on Friday without immediate report of any casualties or damages, according to the U.S. Geological Survey ( USGS).
The quake struck the Andaman Islands, 159 km northeast of Port Blair at 4:39:34 a.m. local time on Saturday (230934 GMT Friday) with a depth of 22 km, Xinhua reported.
