Over 20 persons, all civilians sustained injuries as a motorbike bomb ripped through a bazaar in Helmand province south of Afghanistan, spokesman for provincial administration Daud Ahmadi said Monday.
"Militants planted explosive device in a motorbike and exploded it in the bazaar of Garmsir district Sunday afternoon as a result 21 civilians with majority of them shopkeepers were injured," Ahmadi told Xinhua.
He put the attack on the enemies of peace, a term used against Taliban militants but the outfit has yet to make comment.
