Rapper and actor Ice-T was arrested Tuesday in New York for driving with a suspended licence, dpa reported.
The Law & Order: Special Victims Unit actor was taking his dog to the vet for knee surgery when police pulled him over for driving without a seatbelt. He was arrested when officers found that his license had been suspended.
Ice-T was processed at a police station in the Chelsea neighbourhood and released, he told fans on his Twitter page. "Honestly, The fact that it made national news in 10min. Raises the question... How petty is our news today? What about the War and the Gulf?"
