Actor Charlie Sheen was sentenced Monday to 30 days of rehab in Malibu's luxury Promises celebrity rehab centre after pleading guilty to a third-degree domestic violence charge for his Christmas-day confrontation with wife Brooke Mueller, dpa reported.
Sheen, 44, already spent more than a month at the retreat earlier this year to work on his problems, and will credited for time served, celebrity website TMZ.com reported.
The star of the series Two and a Half Men pleaded guilty to the misdemeanour assault charge in Aspen, Colorado, where the confrontation with his wife sparked the case.
The couple, who have 1-year-old twins and are "trying to work things out," used the same celebrity lawyer, Yale Galanter, in the case.
