Portugal playmaker Deco joined Fluminense on a two-year contract, the Brazilian club said Saturday, dpa reported.
The Brazilian-born midfielder is to be officially presented to the public as a Fluminense player Monday, the Rio de Janeiro club's football vice president Alcides Antunes said.
Deco, 32, made his professional debut with Brazilian giants Corinthians, before joining Portuguese club Benfica. In later years, he was to shine at Barcelona, before a less satisfactory experience with Chelsea.
He played for Portugal in the 2006 and 2010 World Cups.
