Spanish giants Real Madrid announced on Sunday that Ezequiel Garay will be out of action for around two months, dpa reported.
The Argentine defender twisted his right knee in Friday's 0-0 friendly draw away to Bayern Munich. Tests on Sunday showed that the ligaments have not been damaged.
Garay is Real's latest pre-season injury victim, after Mahamadou Diarra, Pepe and Kaka.
The Kaka injury is the most serious one. On August 6 the Brazilian playmaker underwent an operation to remove damaged cartliage in his left knee, and he will be out of action for up to four months.
