The German woman who shot dead three people, including her ex-husband and son, on Sunday was a keen amateur target shooter, police in the town of Loerrach said Monday, DPA reported.
The 41-year-old lawyer, who after her killing spree was shot dead by police, used a 22-calibre weapon pistol that had been legally registered for target shooting.
The woman is thought to have killed her family members before setting fire to their apartment, and then gone on to fatally shoot a hospital worker and injure three others before police killed her.
