A suspected US missile strike on Sunday killed three people in Pakistan's tribal region along Afghan border, security officials said, dpa reported.
Three missiles from a pilotless drone aircraft demolished a house in Assarkale area in North Waziristan, one of the seven districts in tribal area.
"So far three people have been confirmed dead and three more injured but the death toll might rise since 17 people were present inside the house when the attack took place," said an intelligence official who spoke on condition of anonymity.
Another intelligence official confirmed the incident.
The identity of those killed was not known yet.
