Two people were killed and another two injured in a bomb blast at the house of a ruling party lawmaker in Bangladesh's Kushtia district, 183 km west of capital Dhaka, on Saturday, local police said, Xinhua reported.
Ekramul Habib, Kushtia district police chief, told Xinhua over phone that the bomb blast at the house of ruling party lawmaker Alfazuddin Ahmed.
He said police suspected that the attacker might be among the dead and the lawmaker was injured but not seriously.
The police said the attack was launched when the lawmaker was holding a meeting at his residence at about 8:15 p.m. local time.
