CSKA Moscow made sure of a place in the last 16 of the Europa League after a 1-1 draw with visiting Greek side PAOK in Moscow on Tuesday, dpa reported.

The result gave the Russian side a 2-1 aggregate victory after a 1-0 win in the first leg last week.

On a bitterly cold evening in Moscow, PAOK's Zlatan Muslimovic levelled the aggregate score in the 67th before Sergei Ignashevich hit the deciding goal 10 minutes from time after keeper Dario Kresic turned a Vagner Love penalty onto the post.

CSKA will play the winner of the tie between Porto and Sevilla who play their second leg on Wednesday. The rest of the round of 32 ties are on Thursday.
