Screen star Elizabeth Taylor dies, aged 79 (UPDATE)

Actress Elizabeth Taylor has died, her publicist told US broadcaster CNN on Wednesday.
She was 79 and had been in treated in hospital. She died of congestive heart failure, her publicist said, dpa reported.
Taylor was born on February 27, 1932, in London. As well as being considered one of Hollywood's greatest stars of all time, she was married eight times - including twice to actor Richard Burton.
She was made a Dame by the Queen of England.
