Media reports on Wednesday morning said heavy weapons were heard near the residence of Cote d'Ivoire's besieged President Laurent Gbagbo, who has being confined in a bunker by rival forces since Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
Gbagbo's presidential rival Alassane Ouattara's forces were said to have gone to fetch Gbagbo from the bunker.
