Two students were killed and 27 people were injured after a coach carrying college students collided with a truck and a van in north China's Hebei Province Friday, local authorities said Saturday, Xinhua reported.
The coach was carrying students from four colleges in Chengde City for a travel to the coastal city Qinhuangdao. The accident happened at around 10:00 a.m. Friday when the coach reached Kuancheng County, according to a statement from the Chengde municipal government.
The injured were being treated in local hospitals. The cause of the accident was under investigation, it said.
