Barcelona sell youngster Bojan to Roma
Barcelona have sold striker Bojan Krkic to Italian club Roma for around 10 million euros (14.26 million dollars), according to media reports late on Tuesday, dpa reported.
Barca have insisted on a "buyback" clause, by which they could take Bojan back to the Camp Nou in the future.
The 22-year-old Spain international was top of the "wishlist" of new Roma coach Luis Enrique, who knows Bojan well after being coach of the Barca B team from 2008 to 2011.
Bojan, 20, is currently playing for Spain at the European Under-20 championship in Denmark.
He made a sensational start at Barca when aged just 17, but has spent far more time on the subs' bench than on the field in the past two years.
Barca are poised to buy Chilean striker Alexis Sanchez from Udinese. However, the deal seems to have been held up by the reluctance of Barca winger Jeffren Suarez to be part of the deal and join the Italian club.
