British PM says to do everything necessary to restore order

British Prime Minister David Cameron on Tuesday vowed to do "whatever is necessary" to restore order to the streets of Britain troubled by rioting for more than three days, Xinhua reported.

Describing the "sickening scenes caused by the rioters as "criminality pure and simple," Cameron, who cut short of his holiday in Italy earlier on Tuesday, pledged that justice would be done.

The Prime Minister also said the Parliament would be recalled from its recess on Thursday, so that he could make a statement on the riots, which have so far spread to other British cities including Liverpool and Manchester.
