German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle has recalled the country's ambassador to Iran, a day after protesters stormed the British embassy in Tehran, the Foreign Ministry in Berlin announced Wednesday, reported dpa.
The move came shortly after Britain said all its embassy staff had been evacuated from Tehran, in a sharp escalation in tension between the two countries.
