Borislav Milosevic, the brother of the late Serbian strongman Slobodan, passed away in Belgrade early Tuesday aged 79, Belgrade media reported, dpa reported.
A longtime diplomat, Borislav Milosevic served as Belgrade's ambassador to Moscow during his younger brother's reign and played an important role in forging close ties between Serbia and Russia.
After Slobodan was toppled in 2000, Miroslav continued to live and work in Moscow. It is believed that he organized political protection in the country for his brother's wife and son, both of whom faced criminal charges in Belgrade.
