The United States Secretary of State John Kerry and the United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-moon condemned the blasts in Reyhanli, Anadolu Agency reported.
"We stand with our ally, Turkey. This awful news strikes an especially personal note for all of us given how closely we work in partnership with Turkey, and how many times Turkey's been a vital interlocutor at the center of my work as Secretary of State these last three months. Our thoughts are with the wounded and we extend our deepest condolences to the families of the victims," said the statement released by the US State Department on behalf of Kerry.
UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon said, "No reason legitimizes targeting of the civilians," according to a written statement by the UN.
At least 43 people were killed in Reyhanli in two separate blasts on Saturday.
