Pakistan military: 32 militants killed in ambush
The Pakistani military says it has killed 32 militants in an ambush in the country's rugged northwest, AP reported.
In a statement Friday the military said the militants were moving through the Tirah Valley of the Khyber region to the border with Afghanistan when they were targeted by Pakistani forces.
The military said three of its forces were wounded in the incident.
This comes on top of an earlier announcement by the military that it killed 27 militants in air strikes and ground operations in the Khyber area.
The operations come days after the massacre Tuesday of 148 people - most of them children - in a school by Taliban militants.
