Number of earthquake victims increases to 13 in Pakistan (UPDATE)

At least 13 Pakistani people died in a strong earthquake with an epicenter in Afghanistan, RIA Novosti reported citing DAWN local newspaper.

Previously, it was reported about four dead.

Six people, including children, were killed in the Swat district, four - in tribal area of Bajaur during the collapse of buildings.

Some 194 injured were taken to a hospital in Swat district. More than 100 people were hospitalized in a hospital in Peshawar.

An earthquake measuring 7.5 occurred in Afghanistan Oct. 26 at 14:09 (UTC/GMT +4 hours).

Tremors were felt in neighboring Pakistan, India, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan.
