At least five people died in a crash of a sightseeing helicopter in the US state of Tennessee, Sputnik reported citing local media.
According to the WATE 6 television channel citing Pigeon Forge Chief of Police Jack H. Baldwin, the incident happened Monday afternoon local time near the city of Sevierville.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) is investigating the crash, according to the media outlet.
The FAA said in a statement, citing officials, that the helicopter was destroyed by the fire after it crashed.
