Israeli air carrier Israir’s plane, flying from Sochi with 118 passengers on board, made an emergency landing at Tel Aviv’s Ben Gurion International Airport due to a failure in one of the engines, TASS reported Aug. 16.
“The liner with 118 passengers on board made a safe landing,” reported Israel’s Channel 9.
Immediately after the landing, the airport resumed its work, added the report.
None of the passengers or crew members was injured, according to Israel’s public radio.
