A 7.2-magnitude earthquake hit Mexico's southern state of Oaxaca, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center said Feb. 17.
The epicenter of the quake was located 118 kilometers west of the Oaxaca de Juarez. The seismic center was located at a depth of 12 kilometers.
There have been no reports about victims or possible damages.
