An earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale jolted 154 km east of Nago, Japan, at 16:24:35 GMT on Saturday, the US Geological Survey said, according to Xinhua.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 26.5641 degrees north latitude and 129.522 degrees east longitude.
