Ukraine to hold major tourism exhibition

The 25th Ukraine International Travel and Tourism Exhibition will be held on March 27-29 2019 in Kyiv, Trend reports referring to Dispatch News Desk (DND) news agency.

Ukraine International Travel and Tourism (UITT) Exhibition is the leading travel and tourism event in Ukraine which would be attended by tour operators and tourism industry stakeholders from several countries.

Last year, 366 exhibiting companies from 24 countries attended UITT Exhibition.

According to registration data, as many as 20,078 tourism professionals visited the venue during 2018 Exhibition and figure reported an increase of 4 percent comparing to visitors of 2017 Exhibition.

Tour operation companies from Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Egypt, Israel, India, Italy, Spain, China, Cyprus, Cuba, Malta, Maldives, Malaysia, Morocco, Slovakia, Slovenia, the United States, Palestine, Turkey, Tunisia and Sri Lanka had their stalls in 2018 Exhibition. Organisers are expecting more countries to attend the event this year.

Ukraine is working to add new products in its tourism market and is aggressively working to establish food tourism, eco-tourism, winter tourism, sea tourism, cultural tourism, as well as MICE events and festivals.

Ukraine is an important tourism destination by offering seven UNESCO Heritage sites; 20,000 lakes; 11 million hectares of forest; 71,000 rivers and streams; over 100,000 meters of snowy slopes; and 500 kilometers of beaches, 30,000 churches and parishes along with 23,000 kilometers of railways network which virtually connects every small town and big city of the country with each other.
