Ukrainian and Danish officials discussed cooperation between the countries

(ForUm) - In the margins of his official visit to Denmark Foreign Minister Borys Tarasyuk met with Danish vice Prime Minister Bendt Bendtsen to discuss bipartite economic relations, trade cooperation and cooperation in the energy sector, reports Trend.

The parties noted that the commodity turnover between the countries in January-August 2006 had increased by 38% in as compared with 2005.

Ukraine is an important partner for Denmark and Danish companies, which are interested in development of bipartite trade and investment into the Ukrainian economy and agriculture, the Danish vice Prime Minister said.

The sides found it expedient to reach a number of agreements on exchange of delegations at official and business levels.
