12 Vietnamese detained in transgressing RF-Ukraine border

(Itar-Tass) - - Twelve illegal migrants from Vietnam have been detained by border-guards while they were trying to illegally cross the Russian-Ukrainian border near the settlement of Tetkino in the Kursk Region, reports Trend.

As Itar-Tass learnt at the Public Relations Center of the Russian Federal Security Service on Tuesday, at the moment of detention, the transgressors tried to escape, but as a result of an organized search, border guards managed to detain the illegal migrants.

They had no identification documents with them. The law enforcement bodies of the Kursk Region are busy with investigating the incident, a representative of the center said.

According to the center, more than 150 illegal migrants have been detained on the territory of three districts of the Kursk Region in 2006.
