Syrian presidential sources have denied Wednesday that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad will be vacationing in Turkey following his talks with officials there, reported dpa.

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad arrived Tuesday in the resort town of Bodrum where he met Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkish media reported yesterday that Assad and his family would stay in Turkey following his meeting for a 10-day holiday.

Four rounds of indirect talks between Syria and Israel, mediated by Turkey, were believed to have topped the agenda of the meeting at a luxury resort hotel by the Mediterranean.
