A Danish tourist was struck by lightning Sunday while playing golf in southern Turkey, the semi- official Anatolia news agency reported.
Seventeen-year-old Nicolai Pyndt Anderson, who came to Turkey from Denmark on vacation, was badly hurt by lightning while he was playing golf at a resort in Belek town of Antalya province, according to the report.
Anderson was taken to a hospital with an ambulance, said the report, adding the doctors who saw that Anderson's heart had stopped, gave him a cardiac massage and brought him back to life, Xinhua reported.
Doctors were quoted as saying that Anderson had heavy burns all over his body, adding that he was still kept under intensive care and was still in critical condition.
