Chechen field commander, Musa Kaimov, who was returning from Saudi Arabia to Turkey with his family after the pilgrimage to Umrah, was not allowed to enter Turkey, the Turkish Cihan news agency reported.
Kaimov was returned to Saudi Arabia upon the Turkish Foreign Ministry's decision. Kaimov appealed to the Saudi government not to be extradited back to Russia.
After the first Chechen war, the Chechen field commander lived in Turkey with his family for five years.
