Turkish President Abdullah Gul participated in a graduation ceremony at a military academy yesterday on the second day of his visit to Egypt, TRT Russian reported.
Egyptian President Husnu Mubarak and several officials welcomed Gul at the academy.
Gul also met with Egyptian Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif.
An Egyptian orchestra played a Turkish military march during the ceremony.
Gul awarded distinguished students.
The Turkish president also attended a dinner with Mubarak and a number of military officials during his visit, and later met with Mubarak tete-a-tete at the presidential palace. The presidents discussed bilateral and regional issues, developments in the region and Middle East problems.
